Born in Santa Clara, Cuba and raised in Miami Beach, FL. The passion and obsession for all things beauty began very early on by way of his mother and three sisters. Taking inspiration from drawers filled with bright lipsticks and vivid eyeshadows, the realization that makeup should evolve from hobby to career was fast growing.

Shortly after his 21st birthday, he abandoned his position at a law firm. Packing 2 dufffles and a dream, selling his car and collecting that year’s tax to New York City.

His career in the makeup industry came to be by sheer coincidence when a close friend and co-manager at a shoe store he worked at went off to become Account Executive for YSL Beauté. Exceeding expectations with the brand, freelance became permanent and the rest is history.

Shortly after YSL, he was referred to the department manager at Saks Fifth Avenue's flagship store in Midtown where he landed his resident artist spot at the Bobbi Brown Cosmetics counter. Six years later moving on to work for Shiseido then NARS at Barneys NY’s Madison Avenue flagship.

The desire to shift from retail to freelance became stronger than the need for a steady paycheck and the leap was taken. Another “right place at the right time” opportunity as assistant/coordinator at Bobbi Brown's Corporate Office in Soho came about in 2013. Now, as freelance Resident Makeup Artist for the brand in their Artistry Department, he works on various editorial shoots, campaigns and New York Fashion Week to name a few. With clients like Georgina Chapman and Karen Craig of Marchesa as well as Diane VonFurstenberg, the dream became reality.
